Birmingham’s beloved Richard Tubb is retiring after over 50 remarkable years in the interior design business, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy. As one of our first Pepper Place tenants, Richard and his shop have set the tone for our district’s evolution into a regional design destination.
In a fitting tribute to Richard’s lasting vision, we are thrilled to announce that Laura Vogtle, owner of Design Supply, will soon be moving into the space as Odette. Laura, alongside her two sons, Hays and Rhoades Vogtle, and daughter-in-law, Emily Vogtle, will bring a fresh yet familiar perspective to the space. Their plans include retaining Richard’s long-standing employees and the brands, exceptional design, and personalized service that have defined Richard Tubb Interiors.
While Odette may be a new name on the door, Richard Tubb Interiors’ heart and soul will remain alive in our design-forward community.
